Shri Debadatta Mishra, graduated from Berhampur University, Odisha in 2004 in mechanical engineering branch with 1st class(HONS.),third rank at university level and latter obtained his M.Tech in Aerospace Engineering from IIT, Kharagpur. He has started his career on 2005 at one of the DRDO (Defense Research & Development Organization) research lab where he worked up to 2007. In 2007 he joined ISRO training school at Vikram Sarabhai Space Center, after his selection to ISRO (Indian space research Organization) where he underwent comprehensive training with live project on rocket technology, satellite propulsion, satellite payload & communication system. Latter he was posted to Liquid Propulsion systems center, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. During his career at LPSC, Thiruvananthapuram he has worked in the development of indigenous cryogenic stage for GSLV MK-II & MK-III launch vehicle projects. Latter he moved to LPSC, Bangalore & has been working there on spacecraft propulsion system for IRS & GEOSAT satellite projects, reusable launch vehicle project, mars orbiter mission , Chandrayyan -2 propulsion system…etc. He is one of the project manager for GISAT satellite project. Mr. Debadatta Mishra is one among the handful scientists of ISRO who are selected by Chairman, ISRO to work on the prestigious ‘Gaganyaan’ (Human Space Program )project ofISRO and presently he is contributing as a Propulsion expert in the team. He is a life member of aeronautical society of India, Bangalore and ISSE, Bangalore. He has published several technical papers in technical conferences & international repute journals.
